Review on 🦓 Zebra LS2208-SR20007R-NA Corded Handheld Laser Scanner Kit with Gooseneck Stand - Twilight Black: Efficient Barcode Scanning Solution by David Maxwell

I've been in IT for about 15 years. I spent about 3 hours getting this to work on two Windows 10 machines before deciding it shouldn't take that long. In the past I've bought $20 scanners that literally take 3 seconds to start working. I plugged it in and it immediately says it's not recognized by Windows. I scan all included barcodes related to my machine setup, it doesn't work. I go to the product website and download and install the model specific driver but it still doesn't work. Then I download the installer tool for the website and it doesn't recognize the device as connected. I'm trying to connect it to a hub, not directly, no dice. Then I try all the same steps on another machine. No setup should be this painful in 2021. I haven't contacted them for tech support because I know if it ever goes offline in the future it will likely be just as painful. Packed and sent back.
