Not as bright as expected

Not as bright as expected. I wrapped this tape around the pole from the bottom up to show the beginning of the driveway at night. It's outside in bright sunlight all day, but I can barely see the lights at night. However, I've placed some of these in my RV near the door and other emergency access areas and I can see the glowing green much better, so this seems to work best when it's dark, with no moonlight or starlight. Like in the middle of a dark forest. Any barely visible light renders this fluorescent tape useless. So if your app is used in a completely dark place it will work fine, but that place needs light during the day to charge the strip. For example, a stairwell in an office building would be an ideal place to use this tape.
