Review on Portable Butane Gas Stove For Outdoor Adventures: 10,000BTU Camping Burner With Wind Guard And Carry Case by Alejandro Anaya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for coffee/cooking during power outages, everything is included except for the fuel cartriges.

We have frequent power outages that can last anywhere from one to eight hours. We have a dual fuel generator that we can use to power critical circuits of our house. With it we can watch TV, enjoy the Internet and power a few lights and our furnace. What we can't do is cook because our stove is 240VAC which is too much for the generator. That's why I got this Kohree stove. Using a butane canister and this stove, we can now make coffee or cook meals in an emergency.Let me start by saying, make sure you get the right butane cartridges for this stove. The type that are used for refilling butane torches and cigarette lighters won't work. You need to get the butane cartridges that have a metal lip around the top (a comparison is shown in the video). What I Likeo Convenient carrying case included.o Can use either butane or propane fuels.o Propane adapter is included (see photo).o You don't need matches to light it. It lights with an integrated sparker.o Strong flame for supplying sufficient heat for most medium sized pots or pans.o Brass burner eliminates rustout.o Sturdy trivet for safely supporting the cooking vessel.o Easy to adjust flame from high to low and anywhere in between.o Butane canister attachment is well designed and secure.o When stove is turned off, the butane canister automatically disengages -- a good safety feature. What I Don't Likeo The included wind shields seem flimsy with sharp edges. This minor because I probably won't have a need to use them.SummaryThis is a good quality dual fuel stove that will work well for power outages. You have the flexibility of using either butane or propane, depending on the fuel you have on hand. Everything you need is included except for the fuel cartridges. Make sure you get the right cartridges. i highly recommend it.
