Review on 💧 Ultimate Leak-Proof Water Bottle Cap: Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel Loop Cap by Sean Patel

It was awesome. Until it tore at the seam after a fall. I bought this cover under the mistaken belief that it would be more durable than plastic in my workbench (melted metalwork). While still usable, the cap made an awful scraping noise when you twisted it out of the bottle (although as expected, steel on steel would do the trick). First the lid started to rust on the inside. (3 months after purchase). Then the spot weld on the handle came loose. (5 months after purchase). Then the top part of the cover is separated from the threaded section. (7 months after purchase). I love my vacuum sealed 20oz Klean Kanteen bottle. And between that cap and the plastic cap in the kit? Go plastic.
