There is an old Radio Shack 64-053 Soldering Station (digital version). I took a chance that these tips are suitable and. (drum roll please). Yes, they do! Oooo - I recently had an LED project and the original pointed tip just didn't cut the solder on the pads. There are a few other upcoming projects (like building your own arcade joystick etc) for PC etc so this tip is a welcome update to breathe new life into an old but working soldering station. At some point I will buy a Hakko, but it will last me for another year or two :) Just to be clear: the studs fit. I assembled the device and lightly tinned the wire that I want to connect to the Arduino board. So they are 100% suitable for my soldering station. Thanks very much!
