Had a bit of trouble keeping it to the plastic plate we have but it stuck to everything else we tried. Other than that, it works great and tends to hold up pretty well in whatever it's applied to. Maybe too good as it leaves a mark (and/or crack) when you try to remove it. I accidentally used it on the first install when someone banged their knee on the coffee table. It still hurt, but the pad definitely made a difference.
