Review on Stay Chic And Comfy With Women'S Plus Size Zip-Up Hooded Sweatshirts by Robert Ducki

A nice, cozy cool weather hoodie

I got this for my wife, and she now has it right up on her most used coat hook for the upcoming fall and winter months.Zipped, this coat works nicely when it's damp and a little cold, or chill because it's windy, or when it's a bit too cold for a regular hoodie but not yet cold enough for a real winter coat. The length of it seems to also solved her getting cold because a regular length top doesn't keep the breeze off. She also wears it open as a layered option, and it seems to be an improvement over a similarly cut cardigan since the pockets don't sag or tip when she throws in her keys, coinpurse and cell. It's definitely not a very dressy coat, but it still seems to work across many situations, looking way less lazy than a regular hoodie. My wife dresses it up a little by wearing it with long boots. The size was perfect for her. Normally she likes to go a size bigger with softy clothes for comfort, but the fit was great as sized. The best feature (per my wife) is how it keeps getting softer and cozier the more times it goes in the wash - in fact, once it passes try-on, it's a must to run it through several cycles before wear.Speaking of, this came in a vacuum sealed bag, greatly sucking down the size for shipping, no doubt. However, the bag preserved a powerful "factory fresh clothing" smell that filled our room upon opening the bag. My wife is sensitive to all kinds of treatment chems and it took plenty of washing to get it all out. This was needed to get all the wrinkles from the uber-tight packing out, too.In the end, though, she's really happy with it and it was definitely a good purchase.

Pros
  • Soft and cozy, perfect for lounging or exercising
Cons
  • The neckline on these sweatshirts may be uncomfortable or irritating, causing discomfort
