So far so good. It replaced the three-year-old Onkyo, which gave way under light to moderate loads. As with most CD players, the sound quality is good. I like the front loading mechanism that works like a car player. It's quicker than waiting for the drawer to open, and it displays the song title when it's embedded on the CD. A plus is the 3.5mm jack on the front, which allows you to plug in your MP3 player or phone directly, even if you need to turn the volume up to a higher level. The downside is not the most convenient remote control interface. At the same time, it has a nice compact size that easily fits in your pocket. Looks great on my Yamaha receiver. I've added some sticky boots below for ventilation. The device comes without brackets attached to the stand. I am very happy with my purchase after a month. I hope it lasts longer than my last player. An additional warranty is always a good idea when buying modern electronics.
