Purchased specifically for the projector. Not heavy and the right size. I won't be moving the stand often so it works for my needs. This stand isn't strong enough for continuous use, but the price reflects that. The pictures and instructions include a mouse tray, but it wasn't included. I was missing a few pieces but I did (didn't want to return). Whether you use it for laptops or need portability while using the projector for presentations, choose something sturdier that doesn't require the hassle of attaching and detaching. For me too, this worked for my purpose, although a mouse tray would have been handy.
