Review on Duwee Ironing Thicken Padding Metallic by Keith Alvord

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light enough for the elderly to lift, easy to hang on a pole in a closet, wide enough to handle most jobs.

Frail 82 year old who does needlework which often includes ironing, I iron small items, block needlework, enjoys buttoning garments so they lie flat. Of all the boards available, the description best suited my needs. Yes it's strong, useful width and length. Fits on the countertop of the washing machine, kitchen/coffee table. Being frail and small, was surprised I could easily lift it up on a clothes rail in my workshop closet for storage. I didn't like the iron stand at first but I wobble too and now I don't have to worry about the iron tipping over. I'm not there yet, but if I were to lead something of a life of care that would be ideal (assuming I'm allowed to have things that get hot). I wish I had this in my college dorm. This is one of my downsizing and age adjustment purchases.
