Simple, clear, versatile and intuitive. Great for serious cooks, even more so for those of us who don't mean business. I didn't have to read the instructions to assemble it. Out of the box, you can easily see how to attach the whisk, frother and mixer. The fact that it has a blender jug and not just a blender jar allows for infinitely more uses than just a blender. You get 2-fers: a mini blender and a blender in one. As you can see in the picture, all the attachments are in a plastic cup along with the cleaning brush and the motor unit is placed on top of the mixing bowl. This makes it easy to keep everything together. It is durable, heavy and feels good in the hand. I first used it on July 25th to make banana and strawberry ice cream smoothies. I know bananas are not that difficult to blend. However, here's what I was looking for: Simplicity: drop a banana into a tall plastic cup, attach a blender, add milk, immerse blender. Works great. I added ice, the vortex created by the mixer sucked it down, whipped it up nicely and mixed thoroughly with the now banana milk. I ended up with a mixing cup halfway through. I made a second smoothie. This time I doubled all the ingredients. After mixing banana and milk, I added ice cream. It floated up until I hit the power button. Since the cup was a little over 3/4 full, it took a little longer for the ice cream to reach the bottom and mix, but only a few seconds longer. Unlike hand blenders, the ingredients aren't ejected upwards, so you don't have to worry about a mess - everything is sucked downwards. Cleaning is hard work. You simply remove the attachment, wash in soapy water, rinse, dry and store. I can't comment on durability as I've only used it once. I see myself adding more fruits and veggies and tomorrow I plan to make berry smoothies. It's also good for mashing up my lobster soup and many other things in a jiffy. However, if you're making a smoothie for 30 people, use a conventional blender. The same thing happens when you make tons of products or need to mix something for a long time. Try to remember where you put all attachments. Also the price is very attractive compared to others like hand blenders. Customer service is fast and responsive. I had a few questions after unpacking after it was delivered in the middle of the morning. That evening, a support agent answered my questions. Update July 26th: Made a raspberry peach smoothie. The blender worked great. He quickly pounced on the ice cubes and blended the raspberries and peach in seconds. I added a dash of Lipton Peach Iced Tea to add a touch of sweetness and take the peach flavor up a few notches. My husband asked for more and they gave me raspberries. In the evening I went to Aldi and stocked up on peaches, raspberries and blackberries, nectarines and honey-crunchy apples. July 28 update. My husband and I start and end our day with smoothies. I even prepared a third one for myself yesterday. He ate more fruit in 3 days than in the last 3 years combined. I dug and added flaxseed. I've already ordered a few pounds of blueberries and plan to add kale and celery hearts in the future. A bit of kiwi is enough. I keep coming up with different combinations. It also helps other fruit flavors emerge. OK, last update. Today, Friday July 30th, is the sixth day of daily usage and I don't see any change. Yes, I know there's sugar in the fruit, Lipton Peach, and AZ Mucho Mango Blend, but it's a lot less than the candy or other junk food I've eaten when I'm craving. I've also increased my intake of fiber, phytonutrients, and all the other good stuff from eating whole fruits/veggies. I will be ordering this set for friends and family as gifts. Bank.
