Flaky driver; turns itself off in < 1 hr; not bright
I bought a few of these units for a project. They are not nearly as bright as some other EL-wire kits I've used in the past. But most fatally, they turn off automatically! Not at some particular interval you can monitor, but it seems to be within an hour or less. You can click the button to turn it back on, but then you'll have the same problem in not too much longer.I tested two of the units I bought independently and they both had the same problem, so I returned these to revain. Don't waste your money, buy EL-wire kits from a different vendor.
- ❤EASILY TO USE: Can be fixed on the surface by adhesive tape, pin, adhesive, wire tack, etc. Use it in your room to light up doors, molding, and headboards. Use it anywhere you can imagine.
- The EL wire light strip may not be suitable for use in areas with high humidity levels
