I work from home and need a second monitor. It's nice but not bright enough. If you want something really bright I wouldn't recommend this. Picture quality is ok but could be better. You get what you pay for so I was hoping the quality would be a bit better considering the price. Otherwise it works fine. I use it with a Surface Pro laptop and it was easy to set up. Just plug in the ports and get to work. It took me 2 minutes because I had to fiddle with the settings on my laptop for a dual monitor. Once you plug it in, there are a variety of options to best suit your work needs.
