I bought this portable monitor for work to take with me on business trips. I used it at home first and it worked very well. The screen is a little dark, but you can use it. I took it on two trips where I carried it in my laptop bag. I was very careful with the bag. After the second ride the monitor stopped working. Everywhere black bars and a blue screen. If it's marketed as a portable screen, I think it should be able to travel without damaging it quickly.

It's very easy to carry it in my computer bag when traveling, it's lightweight. I realized that I can't work without second screen. The quality is more than acceptable for viewing work-related information, watching videos or photos. I'm still moving it to my Lenovo X1 Carbon screen. you have to adjust the brightness. I got this to have an extra screen with my laptop for learning SalesForce. I like that it has a kickstand, I don't like that it doesn't come with a case like some others because I might break it... but overall it seems to do what I need it for. It took a minute for the monitor to recognize the device even though it was plugged in, not sure if it just needs to be charged or what. I didn't know these portable monitors existed until a few months ago. I wanted it as soon as I saw it. It was on sale a while ago so I pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. This makes working on my laptop so much easier and more efficient as I can have two monitors like on my desktop. This monitor is way better than I expected. It's just perfect for my needs. The display is sharp and detailed. I actually had to lower the resolution when connected to a MacBook Pro. In my hand it feels like nothing, but when used it almost feels like a piece of paper. Everything is fine with this monitor. Even at max brightness it's very dark next to my Acer laptop and colors are far off (laptop is Adobe sRGB). The brightness setting resets to 30% each time you turn it on. It has an oddly cold undertone that I couldn't fix. If you just need something for basic browsing and office work, that's probably fine. When you pair it with a system with a better display, it's really annoying. I ended up giving it away as I got past the return window.
