I bought this for our church so we could have enough cards to play for a group, and I think most kids know the four suits of the cards--or they learn quickly enough. It is good quality, but the first two boxes had cards with a glossy finish, while the third box did not--but that will not affect their use at all. The glossy ones do have an unusual smell when I opened the box. I am anticipating that will disappear once the cards are out and being used. Definitely a good buy.
