Great product. quiet work. Appears to be well built. I used this in a small 5' x 6' vocal booth to pull air to allow fresh air to enter through a vent I built into the door. The photos show the fan on the wall outside the cab. I attached the speed selector in the cockpit with velcro. Since this is a recording studio, quiet operation is of the utmost importance. I simply attached the fan to the outside wall and installed a ventilation grille in the cabin. The normal noise level in the cabin is 30 dB. With the fan running, it's 32 dB at low speeds, 34 dB at medium and 36 dB at high, which is quite acceptable. To give you an idea of how quiet it is if I rub my hands together lightly it would be over 40dB which means the sound pressure level is about twice the background noise in the room when the fan is set to medium. Sorry for the lengthy explanation but I think studio people will find these numbers handy and hopefully regular people can understand my comparisons. The bottom line is I can change all the air in my booth every 115 seconds, keeping noise levels down and keeping my singers happy, cool and breathing well.
