What I need are pedals
My mobile bike mechanic suggested these adapters when I said I didn't want to use clip on pedals on a used bike I bought. It was a lot smaller than the new pedals and did exactly what I needed; converted the clamp into a platform pedal. My only concern is that they are made of hard plastic and not rubber. So I have to put on my grippiest Converse sneakers to keep my foot from slipping on them. But other than that I've put about 25 miles on it and I'm happy with this purchase.
