Review on 🔪 CCR Scissors 8 Inch Soft Comfort-Grip Handles: Titanium Coated, Sharp Blades - 4-Pack by Doris Tran

The name of these scissors is very misleading - I was looking for titanium scissors and the name for them is 'Sharp Titanium Blades' - when I received them the packaging says that the metal is 2CR13 stainless steel. If you read the fine print after a little digging, these scissors are made from "titanium-reinforced stainless steel," which basically means a (grey) titanium coating, not blades made of titanium like metal. Titanium is harder than stainless steel, so blades are stronger, stay sharper longer, and titanium is less prone to corrosion and is also much lighter than stainless steel. For scissors, titanium should be better in every way. Wescott sells real titanium scissors for about the same price and is so disappointed that they are only titanium colors. Guess I'll keep them and see how long the "titanium upgrade" lasts. 2 stars for the headline which is a misleading lie - it's just regular stainless steel scissors. use, these scissors are noticeably less sharp. I use scissors to cut 5-10 pages a day and now they have trouble starting with thicker paper. My genuine Wescott titanium scissors last 1.5 years and are sharper than these scissors. I wouldn't buy them again.
