Waste of money, doesn't do what it's supposed to

TLDR: Waste of money. Like the others mentioned, the cap is very difficult to put on to provide enough seal to be watertight. You need to push the lighter in as hard as you can. Then, with the cap on, I have to press down firmly on the cap with one hand and on the rubber bushing with the other hand to ensure a proper seal. It takes too much energy just to put on a hat. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the mold for these injection molded parts wears out over time and is an expensive repair. I think that's what happened here because it's very difficult to put the cap on properly. I see how it would be impossible for some people. Also the gas lock is a joke, it doesn't work at all. I bought 2 Exotac fire hoses as I wanted one in my bug repellent bag and the other in my smaller travel backpack. And on both sleeves the gas lock does not work, it immediately slips off and does not hold. I've tried this with a couple of lighters, making sure to insert the lighter as far into the sleeve as possible and still have the gas cap slipping off when trying to tighten it. I should have heeded every other reviewer's warnings, but I decided to take a chance. I'm sorry for that. Sending them back because they are clearly defective and do not do what they advertised or intended. You're better off putting your lighter in a ziplock pouch (double pouch if you're paranoid), prescription bottle, or literally any other container if you want your lighter to be waterproof. As expensive as this piece of rubber is, it doesn't do anything it's supposed to. A complete waste of money. you have been warned
