Picked up this backpack to take my family on vacation to Disneyland. There was water, sunscreen, souvenirs, snacks, whatever, all packed at once. Lots of space and multiple pockets to keep things separate. It's now the bag I use to carry my musical gear (bass amp head, cables, picks, guitar stand, etc.). It perseveres and does exactly what it is supposed to. do. I'm deducting a star for convenience. The straps don't "detach cleanly" from the back of the back, but rather resemble a harness. As a result, the bag is a bit tight on the back for me and the material that connects the shoulder straps at the top rubs on the neck. Not enough to cause any serious complaints, just not the best design choice.
