Compare Outlet Organizer & Lockable Socket Holder

When I changed the brake pads on my son's car last week, I did it again! All sockets removed. Under the car, under the tool box. you have the idea I needed a cure. So I bought two of these outlet organizers and two lockable outlet racks. They have a magnetic base to hold sockets in place. while the other type has protruding nest bases to hold and lock the nests in place. Both have magnetic feet for attaching the set to metal surfaces. These racks take away my personal sockets and fit both SAE and metric. The magnetic back allows you to place your set anywhere convenient or inconvenient. On your drawer, in your car's engine cabinet, on air vents, anywhere. And thanks to the locking function, individual heads do not fall out. The advantage of these holders is that they can accommodate 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sockets. The other type has a socket with only one size. So a holder for each size, which doubles can get expensive. Lockable outlet stands allow outlets to be locked onto the holder so that they stay in place if dropped. I have a picture of one in my tool box. I think that's a big plus. With both types, you don't leave the outlet, because you see exactly what's missing 100% hassle-free installation If you're tired of socket outlet disasters, want to add some structure to the usual clutter and find that the plastic casing doesn't cut it, then this is what you've been looking for. So they each have their pros and cons but I would go with locking posts as the outlets will stay in place even if the post falls off I hope you find it useful zlich.

Pros
  • 2" x 2" Compact Design
Cons
  • Not Bad, But...
