Bought for a baby shower and they turned out great! I've read reviews of some of these colors and found helpful advice among one reviewer's instructions: 1. Remove the tissue paper from the packaging.2. Remove the tape wrapped around the tissue paper.3. Unfold/lay down the (somewhat) flat tissue paper so that it is rectangular and not the folded "stick" that it was. 4. Pull each layer apart to create air between them (here's the trick to keep the layers from sticking together when you start pulling the layers of fabric apart). Try folding the tissue paper into a neat pile, but don't think about it. Once you create a flower, you won't notice if one, two, or all of the paper isn't aligned on all edges. Fold the tissue paper back as before (e.g. making a paper fan) but now it will be a little dirtier and fluffier due to the air you are getting between these dense layers. Tie the ribbon in the middle of this "stick" or wherever it was before you took it off. Continue separating the layers to create your flower, somewhat like the clear plastic sheet shown. Hope that helps! If not, watch some videos. I noticed that some reviewers said it takes forever to analyze. It took me 1.5 hours to disassemble everything in the way above. I've done them before, so it may take 2 hours for a beginner, but definitely not more than 3 (unless you're interested in other things or having a really hard time figuring out how to do it)! The colors are as pictured and they came out exactly as I had hoped/wanted. So buy them when you have helpers/students ready or when you have free time. Be patient with yourself and choose something to listen to or talk about to pass the time. Also, the price of $10.99 for 24 was the best deal I could find at the time of my purchase (January 2019).
