This, of course, is not a serious lens, just to see what a wide-angle is, although in skillful hands it allows you to get interesting pictures thanks to aperture. An alternative to it on the Sony NEX is the Zenitar 16 2.8, which is a fisheye. Zenitar has noticeable distortion even on crop, but you get used to such photos in a week. The benefit here is excellent image detail across the frame and a wider viewing angle. In principle, you can also use the huge Canon 15-85, which at an open aperture easily overtakes the lens from Sony at f / 8.
Pros
- Compact, light, cheap, the ability to install some wide-angle nozzles from Sony.
Cons
- Low image sharpness, especially at the edges. Of course, like all budget wide-angle lenses, there are strong chromatic aberrations. If a speck of dust falls on the glass, it is very clearly visible in the picture. There is no stabilizer - despite the wide angle, due to the low weight of the camera, you need a shutter speed of at least 1/40 - 1/50 in order not to blur.

I think that this is a very good lens for a reasonable price, of course it has a slight distortion around the edges, but the NEX copes with it with a bang! The photos are very bright and you never miss the focus. , but the fisheye is very good.
