I thought I bought new but it was apparent it was used. Ripped open parts bags inside, styrofoam loose in box. It was easy to set up but every time I moved it I kept hearing something loose inside. I finally took the cover off the motor (when it didn't turn on after the 2nd use I wanted to check for the problem). I did find a larger washer loose inside the motor compartment. Couldn't find where it goes so I took it out and kept it.Checked all the wires, and it appears to be fine. It works now, a little squeaky but it comes with oil. I think its a good product, I'm glad I bought it despite the little problem at first. It has safety clip that does work (don't accidently pull it off the machine while in use). This is a nice, little treadmill, I'm glad I bought it.
