I bought this in a plus size. They could literally go through my chest. I'm 5'4 160lbs. They weren't attractive to me, but very comfortable. Some people will definitely like them (I love a good pair with a high waist). I would say go and try it. They are exactly like the photo and are snug around the hips (depending on the style - I have a vintage suit from the 40's and they suit my curvy figure too)
