I ordered two of these. A magnetic chalkboard is a plus for sure! One I used as is, the other I cut to fit an old mirror frame. I calculated how much it would cost to make my own for the mirror frame, and it was only 5.00 more to buy one and cut it to fit. The construction is two pieces of sheet metal held together by corrugated cardboard. Fairly light. These boards arrived unblemished, undented. I seasoned before use and chalk marker washes easily off. A few comments have noted the annoying protective film (which is fastened under the frame for full protections. If you pull it off slowly and evenly, it will come off in one piece. If you get in a hurry (which I did with the first one) it will come off in pieces and you will have to use tweezers to pick the plastic wrap out of the frame. Really happy with these so far. I donʻt anticipate erasing a lot (will use magnets more often), so canʻt speak to the durability over time,, but good so far.
