Very happy with this purchase. I bought this for a cobalt compressor I was rebuilding that I took used and it didn't have a filter. I had to use a short 1/2" NPT pipe and elbow as there wasn't enough room to mount it directly to the compressor pump. It was a very loud compressor with no filter (103.5dB next to the compressor). dropped to 93.9 dB after filter installation. It might not seem like a huge difference, but 10dB less means it's now about half as quiet as before. At 10-15ft it's about twice as quiet again so that's it, I can work close by without worrying about hearing protection. The workmanship looks very good and the filter folds are quite deep - they take up about half the depth of the housing. I'm very glad I didn't get the cheaper imported filters.
