Review on ASUS GeForce GDDR5 Graphics GT1030 2G CSM by Loren Schmidt

This video adapter was purchased to upgrade an old PC (HP Pavilion a6500f) with an integrated video system that could no longer support a modern browser. The adapter was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged and in perfect condition a few days before the ETA. For those familiar with installing adapter cards, the adapter is easy to install. This PC is running the Linux operating system (MX-Linux 19.3) and had some issues getting the adapter to work with open source Linux drivers. The operating system froze and stopped responding to mouse and keyboard inputs. MX-Linux has an "Nvidia Driver Installer" in "MX Tools" to install proprietary Nvidia drivers. After installing the Nvidia driver, the adapter worked fine on Linux. Previously, this PC processor was upgraded from Pentium Dual Core E2220 to Core 2 Duo E6750. It can now stream 1080 videos. As I'm not a gamer, my biggest problem with videos is streaming 1080 videos on YouTube. This adapter does it very well.
