A little BEAST! on Graphics Cards

This GPU is a BEAST! Bought for my sleeping old Optiplex 990mt with i5 2400 16GB HyperX RAM, 240GB Kingston SSD and 1TB HDD with Apevia 450qatts PSU. Perfect for what I need. He's playing Fortnite on medium settings, I'm sure with a better processor the quality will be high. He's playing Rocket League in high quality and I plan to see how he handles the video but oh my god I'm very impressed with the quality for the price it's excellent.

Packs a good punch for its price.

Bought for a budget gaming computer I was building. It works great and installs with no problems. Normally there is no Nvidia support for Linux, but after installing the Nvidia 381 driver and a quick reboot on Mint 18.1 (Ubuntu 16.04) it worked fine. It plays great in all my games, although some of them require me to downscale the graphics a bit to maintain a stable 60fps, but considering how cheap this card is, I was expecting that. Definitely worth it for those trying to save money on a…

Great video adapter for non-gamers.

This video adapter was purchased to upgrade an old PC (HP Pavilion a6500f) with an integrated video system that could no longer support a modern browser. The adapter was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged and in perfect condition a few days before the ETA. For those familiar with installing adapter cards, the adapter is easy to install. This PC is running the Linux operating system (MX-Linux 19.3) and had some issues getting the adapter to work with open source Linux drivers. The…

Works great as a temporary replacement

I am using this card in my power rig as a spare while waiting for the next gen card. I really like the fact that it is absolutely silent and that the price-performance ratio is convincing. It can run Skyrim Special Edition at a solid 60 fps on the low graphics preset of 1080p and boost Synthetic: Legion's 120 fps to 1440p. I also tested Borderlands 3 and mostly stayed at 60 fps down to 540p low (better than the Nintendo Switch can handle many games). Gaming aside (this card isn't for gaming…

GT 1030: what are you waiting for?

I got lucky with this card when my old card went down the drain. It should be the sleeper graphics card of the year. A low profile, silent card that is constantly being compared to cards that require a 6-pin lead. This card is powered by a PCI-E slot. No need for 6 pins. My old hd6750 card required a 6 pin 85w connector. Most 6-pin cards require 55 to 90+ watts to operate. This card only requires 35 watts. And he's holding up very well. Even at 1080 resolution and medium settings, this card can
