It has such beautiful shades of colour. Very subtle variations between each shade are included in each pack. Of course I'm not running out of thread now. Thing is, if I do that, I can't re-order without re-ordering the entire pack. DMS lies. It's not as shiny as JP Coats but has a nice sheen or thread sheen that really enhances the colors. It's definitely better than the Venus and Dollar Store brands in that it's not as fuzzy, sluggish, and boring as Dollar Store Thread. If you're learning to embroider like me, this is definitely a good option for you and it's great to have all these colors on hand for such a low price. It's also good to have two of each color.
