Weak ankles from old gym and fitness injuries and currently work a 14-16 hour day so I sprain each ankle several times a year. Worked well for me and was 2/3 the price than my physical therapy room with my insurance. Better than an ace of course. I bend my leg when tying my laces (not recommended for everyone). I need to fold the vertical velcro that appears on the sides to the horizontal velcro before the final step. You can't wear 14 hours a day every day. I wear size 8/8.5 shoes, wide flat feet (d-ee), I bought a small one.
