. it's been a few days and it's working fine. There are a few key points

I've only had it a few days and it's working fine. However, there are some important things you should know. First, this jack is heavy. This isn't a problem if you're rolling it on the garage floor or a paved road. If you pick it up and carry it around, this jack probably isn't for you. 85 pounds is a lot unless you're in top shape. Second, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, especially if you're not very familiar with jacks. Here are some tips: A. There is a 9/16" screw on the bottom of the grip fork (the part where you insert the grip). This bolt connects to a rod which I assume was intended to hold the grip fork in place during shipping. It must be removed. Be careful - the bolt, its lock washer and the shaft will fly off when you loosen the tension. B. The same bolt holds the grip in place without the stem when you roll it. Insert the handle into the handle fork and screw the screw back in. It was a bit short with the lock washer in place so I threw away the washer. The bolt fits into the groove on the end of the handle and prevents it from coming out. Please note that the handle is stored in the fully upright position when not in use. C. The handle is in two parts and is secured with two socket head cap screws with lock washers. They fit with a 5/32 allen wrench. D. The instructions say to use and check the oil level first. As part of this process you will need to remove the oil filler plug. The owner's manual only says it's on top of the hydraulic reservoir. To find it you have to remove the small tray that is in front of the handle fork. The plug is made of rubber and painted the same red as the socket. Looks like a round dent on the tank. Pry and pry it off with your fingernail or a small flathead screwdriver, removing any little bits of paint - you don't want them covered in oil. Then follow the instructions. Reinserting the connector can be difficult. A small slotted screwdriver helps. I measured the range. This is from 5-1/4" to 19-1/8". Hope that helps.
