Review on Black Arkon Windshield/Dashboard Mount - Designed for Most Smartphones - Retail Packaging by Ryan Cross

I recently bought an Arkon SM514 Slim Grip for my HTC G2 and am very satisfied. The suction cup is great and sticks to many surfaces where other docks won't. I use this dock in my MINI Cooper S which is a bit stiff and the phone vibrates very little but is still very readable and functional. I have a very good grip and always use it in the horizontal position (snaps sideways, not up and down) and the phone has never loosened or fallen out, but it's still possible to slide the screen around to access the keyboard access light when i need. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I'm very happy with the product. Highly recommended.========================================== == == ================================= EDIT: So it's been about 3.5 months since I bought the mount and in the last few days it started falling off the windshield. Today I picked it up to put it back in and found that part of the suction cup was broken where the lever attaches to it. I exceeded the 90-day guarantee by 10 days, but the site offered to send a replacement base. He should arrive soon. Very satisfied with the company and the device!
