Good quality hat; pretty good quality shield. It *will* crack, but it takes a lot.EDIT TO ADD: After six weeks of use - he's not very careful - there are several white marks where he folded it. I'd like to order a replacement shield just in case he breaks this one, but don't see a way to do so.I was impressed the hat fits my 7-5/8 head as well as my adult son's smaller one, with no loss of comfort.Plenty of room to wear a face mask underneath and still have some air circulation.
