I was hoping the water would come back with a little more pressure to mix the tank better. It works great and by changing the return angle I can make it kick up the water surface. My main problem with this type of filtration was the aeration of the water. It really helps and installation was quick and easy. If it had been designed with more inverted holes but smaller it would have had a more reactive action and that would have given it 5 stars. In any case, the ventilation is much better than the mono-pipe return that comes with the tank, so it works well and I would buy it again.
