I am very happy with this purchase. I spent some time researching more established brands but decided to try the lower price point as a starting point for my new home. Out of the box it feels heavy and well made. I opened the manual and removed the plastic piece, but I know there is an extra piece inside the device that you have to unscrew from the back to remove it. I later had to troubleshoot during the setup process as the power was dying even though it was fully charged! I am glad that this device is completely wireless. I live in an apartment where I can't wire. I attached it to the security door using the two screws and 3M tape that came in the box. The best thing about this doorbell is that you can plug the Chime anywhere in the house. I decided to make it as far from the door as possible so I could hear it from behind the house. There are several ringing options, but I went with the one that, as you can see in the video, most closely resembles a doorbell. This doorbell does not come with a wallbell adapter. I had an extra, but it can also be plugged into a USB port on a computer. I am very happy with this purchase and so glad I have my first doorbell!
