Review on Air King 9155 Window 🌬️ Fan: Powerful 16-Inch Cooling Device in White by Steven Ripley

Ran my attic fan

UPDATE JULY 2017: The fan died. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to fix this and ended up replacing the capacitor. It wasn't like that. then i oiled it (should have tried before) and it worked again - a few weeks. Now it's completely dead. I ended up ordering a new one from Revain with a guarantee and expecting it to die again in 2-3 years. I use this fan to keep my house cool without air conditioning. The fan is on the 3rd floor (my office) and across from the stairwell. Make sure all doors from the first floor are open to allow the fan to draw air from the first floor. This side of the house doesn't get wet when the storm comes, but sometimes they come from a weird direction and it's nice to be able to close the window. In my office, I sometimes turn it off (or get off a height) when I'm on the phone, but it doesn't usually bother me. I went one step further and connected mine to a specially programmed Arduino board that has 2 temperature sensors: one inside and one outside. If the outside temperature is lower than the inside temperature, the program turns on the fan. When the outside temperature is higher than the inside temperature, the fan will turn off. It took a while but now it does exactly what I want.
