I really like the light, it works well (although I upgraded mine from a cord light to a plug light because there was no existing circuit in the ceiling of the room to install the cord light) My complaints are as follows: I ordered a smaller size and it turned out to be more than expected. The lamp has 3 "parts" and I thought the measurements were taken from the largest points of the lamp, but it looks like the stated width is measured from the smaller sections (top and bottom) versus the largest center section became. At first I thought maybe they accidentally sent me a larger size but the length was as expected just not the overall width. There were no instructions included. If you've installed a light before, or are just familiar with these things, you shouldn't have any problems. If not, the instructions could be a problem. My other complaint is the color. It looks a little darker than the wood in most photos and only one photo shows it to be a very, very light wood colour. It's actually a very, very light color, not a bit darker. IKEA makes a very similar $79 lamp called The Sinnerlig. I knew it existed when I ordered this one, but I preferred the matching wood color "fittings" over the black Ikea.
