I originally bought an aluminum frame but it didn't fit perfectly and therefore didn't fit properly in my car's front license plate bracket. It wasn't a big deal but I wanted to try silicone instead as it's not great anyway and I didn't like how it touched the back of the car body. I was concerned about damage and the future possibility of the metal frame rusting or fading. This silicone seems to solve all my problems while still looking very clean. It's also not super sticky like I thought and feels very smooth. 100% recommend this to any other frame. Not to mention that this option is way cheaper than the competition that literally sells the same thing.
