I had a project that required a riveting tool for six 1/8 inch aluminum rivets. I've never installed rivets so I read this thread and the numerous reviews here. Decided to try this tool. First I found the right size nose piece and installed it. They are stored on the instrument itself, so you don't have to worry about losing them. When I first installed the rivet and connected the handles, I was surprised when the shank didn't break like I saw doing it with a different tool. Tool style (90 degree head with pliers). Then I opened and closed the handles again and the piece cut off as it should. I was able to install the remaining rivets using this method. I doubt I'll be using it for anything else anytime soon, so I can't rate its durability. It seems as well made as any other inexpensive tool I've bought here recently.
