I have been using electric callus removers for many years and I like them better than pumice stones or metal grinders. This callus remover comes with 3 grinding heads. I use rough on the heels and then medium to smooth out the skin on the heels. A fine sanding head is good for sensitive areas like hands, but should be used very carefully. Changing the grinding heads is very easy. It can even be used in the shower, which is a huge plus. This callus remover is rechargeable, which is very convenient. A full charge lasts for multiple uses depending on how long you use it each time. I can use this for 2 weeks on a single charge. It has 2 speeds. High speed with a coarse grinder is very good for getting rid of tough leather. The last picture shows how the grinding heads fit the device. The size of the abrasive surface in each roll is just over an inch. The rollers are mounted in the device in such a way that the sanding surface does not touch the surface when the device is horizontal. With my other callus remover, the abrasive surface protrudes from the body, making each area easier to access. With this device, the grinding surface is on the inside. So when using this callus remover on flat surfaces, you need to apply pressure to get the abrasive surface to touch the skin. This is not a major design flaw, but it can be fixed. I still love this callus remover and use it 2-3 times a week.
