It's expensive, but after believing that the only way we can control our dog is with positive training and treats, we finally had to admit that deer and other critters' lure too plenty is our backyard for a gun dog/retriever combo. Even with a strong invisible fence and lots of training, we just couldn't cope - and then jumping on people came, as she was missing another puppy and human socialization in a pandemic. Now a beep is usually enough to check on her and she can train again! Still use treats, but this is an additional tool. I think I only used the flash button twice in the three weeks we had and that was when it was deep in the woods and didn't come back. She is back! The only downside is that the batteries on the collar don't last long (for a couple of days) and you have to turn it on after it's charged, and when you turn it on it beeps, which leads the dog to think he's done something wrong.
