This product was cheap and good quality. A rare combination these days. The clamps easily fit a standard battery post and have strong springs to ensure good contact with the battery. The cord is 2ft long and 12 gauge and will easily carry 15 amps over a short 2ft distance to a rugged 12v waterproof outlet with a durable waterproof rubber cover that is difficult to see in a photo. This little gem is used on my boat to charge a 12v HID headlight with the included 12v car charger. I needed a 12v outlet on my boat that would handle the salt spray and didn't want to cut holes in the console. This small device is ideal for this purpose. I would give it 5 stars if they built it with 3 feet. long 10 gauge cables but they cover 90% of my 12v needs at a very good price.
