I would give my car 5 stars as soon as I bought it. It's definitely easy to use and sews well. But the throat plate screws are no longer made and if they are in the aftermarket I can't find them. The specified machine is no longer available on the website. So, I have a screw holding my needle plate. If I lose it while cleaning, I'm screwed. I also had issues with the control panel not starting when I started the machine. I had it less than a year. I wouldn't buy it again. And since the singer is out of print, a screw that usually gets lost on a machine that is still in production, I won't be buying the singer again. That's ridiculous.
