We had to replace our existing pet door because it was falling apart! The original we installed was a well known brand (ordered from Home Depot) and was installed about 5 years ago. It was molded plastic and of course didn't hold up well as the screws holding it in the wall had broken and the floor between the two doors was almost completely destroyed. Our two puppies, a chihuahua and a corgi, use it many times a day! Finding this all metal without the flaps was amazing! Bought the same size as the existing one and it slipped right into the hole! No modifications needed and it's flush with the wall! It's much more aesthetic than the previous one! IF I ever need to buy another one, this is definitely my choice!
