Review on Cashmere Solid Lightweight Winter Scarves Women's Accessories in Scarves & Wraps by Andrea Sciuto

This is a beautiful scarf. I ordered light blue, a very pretty shade that I think would go just as well with my black pea coat as with my denim jackets. Most wool scarves seem to have a pattern so I'm happy to find a solid color and the choice of colors is very good. At 30cm wide and 165cm long, not counting the fringes, it's quite large so it can be wrapped or tied in a variety of ways, or simply draped around the neck leaving the long ends loose. The scarf is thin and light, surprisingly soft and warm to the touch. I can be sensitive to wool and usually choose merino, but this scarf doesn't irritate or itch me. The label attached to the scarf indicates that it is 100% wool, but does not specify the type. The scarf has an annoying fabric tag with the brand's logo on it, which I remove with a seam ripper (it's sewn down the short sides of the rectangle, not sewn around). The scarf is well made and the wool appears to be of good quality. He has very thin scales. The 3 inch fringes are well made, curled tight and look very pretty. The product description states that this scarf has a "cashmere feel", which it doesn't (although at least this scarf is made of wool and some sellers say the same). like acrylic or viscose). The product description recommends dry cleaning, but I've had luck with my cheaper wool scarves' gentle hand wash (in cold water and dry flat). The scarf came just wrapped in a plastic bag. This doesn't affect my rating, but I wish it was packaged in a gift box or drawstring pouch. It's not five stars but it's a very nice scarf and I'm glad I have it. I will wear it often and will definitely check out other scarves from this brand. The current price of $22.99 seems pretty reasonable for this high quality 100% wool scarf.
