Pep Boys, O'Reilly's and other auto parts stores seem to think you only need one type of magnet. The only way to find a part that got lost in the Jeep Wrangler's roll bar while driving was to use a very small flexible magnet. For two months I was looking for this very flexible magnet and didn't find what I needed, the seller on Revain gave me. The job was successfully completed 5 minutes after receiving the magnet in the mail. Wouldn't trade it for anything, even if it's rarely needed, it's the only thing that can be used occasionally.
