I bought our kitty a 2 ply honeycomb mat and she must have hated how it felt on her feet as she jumped over it and made more litter threw the ground. Found this rug and decided to try it. It's the perfect size and she really walks on it! It definitely does a better job of containing trash. The filler can be easily removed from the carpet. The only negative I noticed is that it will be difficult to remove if a little poop gets stuck in the fibers.
