I got the color slate gray. It's definitely not 17 inches tall, it barely reaches 15 inches and is less than 1 inch wide at 23 inches in diameter. I'd have to add legs to adjust the seat height of my lounge chair, but the color is this muddy, warm gray with a green tinge that looks lousy next to something blue, navy, or cool gray. .It is quite comfortable but at the same time quite durable and easy to move. I might try my luck with dark gray (peppercorns), hopefully that's a more accurate color.
