I am very happy with this gate. This is exactly what I need as a barrier for my Irish Wolfhound. It's strong, feels solid, very big, but most importantly, it's easy to open and close. I had no problems during installation, you only have to pay attention to the distance between the door frame and the edge of the door when tightening the tension washers. If the gate latch does not click, continue tightening the dials at the top until it clicks slightly. You can install it with the hinge side on the left or right and the door opens in or out as you prefer. To open, push the button to the side, lift and swing open. The gate closes and closes behind you. A big reason I love it is that the opening you go through is 18 inches wide, which is perfect for me or my dog (neither of us are small). I have an extra tall size for 28-32". My door is 30" wide and fits perfectly. If your door is much wider you may need to purchase additional sections.
